The Anti-Defamation League (ADL.org) claims its mission is:
“To stop the defamation of the Jewish people, and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
Elsewhere, the ADL publicly claims that it is a completely nonpartisan, fighter for the Jewish people:
“[We are] a nonpartisan organization that fights antisemitism, extremism and all forms of hate regardless of ideology or party…”
It also claims to e the world’s tip-of-the-spear in defending Jews:
“We are the global leader in combating antisemitism, countering extremism and battling bigotry”
At a time of unprecedented, skyrocketing hatred and violence against Jews in North America and throughout the West, every Jewish organization that solicits money on the pretext of combating this phenomenon has both a moral and legal obligation to do exactly that.
The ADL collects more than $62 million per year in donations from foundations and individuals, based on its promise that this money will be used to advance its top objectives.
The reality: The ADL diverts its Twitter reach and prestige into a bizarre variety of contentious issues that have absolutely nothing to do with defending Jews, as well as a hyper-partisan disinformation campaigns
TheADLExposed’s debut report, The ADL’s fraudulent war against Elon Musk & Twitter, Part 1: The Farrakhan Factor, exploded the myth that the ADL is committed to its stated objectives.
Section 6 in the report listed some of the wars it instigates against others (most notably, Jewish blogger Chaya Raichik), and the hyper-partisan political activism in which it engages, that are totally unrelated to fighting anti-Semitism. It did not go into any detail, however.
The purpose of this page is to:
- Showcase specific examples of the ADL’s diversionary activity, particularly campaigns to advance far-left political causes and lies, related to LGBT, free speech, election integrity and immigration policy issues
- Reveal the easily-provable falsehoods at the root of some of the ADL’s Tweets
This page is intended to be the first in a continuing series.
If you’re aware of other ADL diversionary activities that you think TheADLExposed.org should feature, please send a tip.

Does this law “criminalize drag performances”? No.
So what does it actually do? It prohibits drag performances that are not confined to an adults-only setting.
Why was it proposed, and passed, in 2023, as opposed to years before? Because incidents such as these only burst onto the scene in recent years, the videos of which are shared by orthodox Jewish blogger Chaya Raichik — yet about which the ADL says nothing:

Analysis
“A half-truth is a whole lie.”
– Jewish proverb
The ADL has never posted such videos, or even acknowledged their existence, or why parents are so upset about what America’s children are being exposed to, often in taxpayer-funded settings (schools, libraries, etc). Neither have the news organizations with which the ADL affiliates, primarily MSNBC, CNN and the New York Times. Thus, the ADL had good reason to speculate that, as 70% of American Jews lean left, and none of the information channels they utilize show such videos, either, it could probably get away with this disinformation.
This conscious, deliberate act of self-silencing by the ADL and its media allies does two things:
- It gives them the ability to pretend that they hold the moral high ground, as they spread the illusion that they’re just protecting the LGBT and drag queen communities from “hate” (the word they employ to describe anyone who objects to young children being subjected to such hyper-politicized activities)
- It creates an opportunity for anyone who is willing to step up and record and share such videos, and organize efforts to protect America’s children from these efforts to indoctrinate and sexualize them, often in taxpayer-funded environments such as schools and libraries
One Jewish American above all stands out for the courage she exhibited, to root out and share such videos, as her personal project: Chaya Raichik, who, until April 19, 2022, operated under the screen name “LibsOfTikTok.” Raichik amassed and posted an extensive array of videos of these performances; a few are here, here and here.
The phenomenon of drag queens targeting children has also been covered by certain courageous news organizations:
VIDEO: Sexualised drag shows for toddlers pushed by people ‘deranged by an ideology’, Sky News (Australia), March 8, 2023.
Video of drag queen gyrating next to child sparks backlash, NY Post, October 19, 2022.
The State Department Used Your Tax Dollars To Fund a Film Festival That Depicted Drag Queens, Incest, and Pedophilia, Washington Free Beacon, July 19, 2022.
And what has the ADL had to say about all of the above? Nothing — even though it publicly claims to be very concerned about “children’s mental and physical well-being.”
Instead of expressing outrage at this phenomenon, the ADL declared war on Raichik — a Jewish blogger — for daring to share videos that the perpetrators — and their defenders — upload of themselves, to TikTok. The ADL did this knowing that earlier in 2022, Raichik was doxxed by the Washington Post, after which she and her family had to flee their homes in terror.
This is all documented in a sub-report:
The ADL’s crusade to destroy Jewish blogger Chaya Raichik – The ADL Exposed
(2) Lying to America about a Florida law that protects 5-9 year olds from being subjected to sexual/gender indoctrination in schools
The following Tweets, by the ADL’s Florida chapter, were both shared by the ADL’s national social media channel, which is how I became aware of them:
Its shameful that @GovRonDeSantis signed the deeply bigoted “Don’t Say Gay” bill into law. As we have said, this bill hurts all of FL's children and ignores the simple, fundamental reality that LGBTQ+ students, families, and teachers exist. This is a sad day for our state. https://t.co/R4ngwlCnan
— ADL Florida (@ADL_Florida) March 28, 2022
A few weeks earlier, the ADL voiced its opposition to the proposed law, based on its alleged concern for “students’ mental and physical well-being”:
Absolutely shameful. #HB1557 hurts all of FL's children and ignores the simple, fundamental reality that LGBTQ+ students, families, and teachers exist. The repercussions of this measure will impact students’ mental and physical well-being.https://t.co/WQeQshg6AC
— ADL Florida (@ADL_Florida) March 8, 2022
The article to which the ADL links falsely refers to HB1557 as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. The reality, as the ADL knew (or should have known) at the time, is that nowhere in the bill does it mention “gay,” or any sexual orientation.
So what did HB1557 actually propose? Simply this: that teachers of kindergartners through third-graders should not introduce any sexual politics or gender ideology to them, because they are simply too young.
Yet instead of standing up for this common sense principle, the ADL used an easily-debunked lie to openly advocate for protecting “educators” who want to indoctrinate 5-8 year olds in their sexual and gender politics.
Myth vs. Fact: Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill (HB 1557), Heritage Action For America, February 23, 2022.
Further, although the it positioned itself here as a champion of “the mental and physical well-being” — the ADL never said a word about the fact that five weeks before it launched its phony war against Elon Musk (on November 4, 2022), some of America’s biggest advertisers announced they were boycotting Twitter, because their ads to appear next to child porn:
Exclusive: Brands blast Twitter for ads next to child pornography accounts, Reuters, September 29, 2022. Excerpt:
Some major advertisers including Dyson, Mazda, Forbes and PBS Kids have suspended their marketing campaigns or removed their ads from parts of Twitter because their promotions appeared alongside tweets soliciting child pornography, the companies told Reuters.
DIRECTV and Thoughtworks also told Reuters late on Wednesday they have paused their advertising on Twitter.
Brands ranging from Walt Disney Co (DIS.N), NBCUniversal (CMCSA.O) and Coca-Cola Co (KO.N) to a children’s hospital were among more than 30 advertisers that appeared on the profile pages of Twitter accounts peddling links to the exploitative material, according to a Reuters review of accounts identified in new research about child sex abuse online from cybersecurity group Ghost Data. […]
“Twitter needs to fix this problem ASAP, and until they do, we are going to cease any further paid activity on Twitter,” said a spokesperson for Forbes.
“There is no place for this type of content online,” a spokesperson for carmaker Mazda USA said in a statement to Reuters, adding that in response, the company is now prohibiting its ads from appearing on Twitter profile pages.
A Disney spokesperson called the content “reprehensible” and said they are “doubling-down on our efforts to ensure that the digital platforms on which we advertise, and the media buyers we use, strengthen their efforts to prevent such errors from recurring.”
What did the ADL have to say about this legitimate boycott, for a legitimate reason? Absolutely nothing. See for yourself:
Here’s a search at ADL.org using the string “Twitter child porn advertise” (September 28, 2023 archive here).
The results? Nothing regarding this advertiser boycott — which was directed at Twitter’s previous management.
(3) Advocating for the federal government to force schools to allow biological males who “identify” as female, to compete in female sports — and all that this entails
We applaud @usedgov for proposing a new #TitleIX rule that would give transgender students a fair chance to participate in sports. Advancing equal treatment is why the law exists, and we must ensure it applies to everyone, regardless of how they identify. https://t.co/oMQj27JCgQ
— ADL (@ADL) March 30, 2022
Analysis
What are the practical implications of this policy? One need look no further than the spectacle of William Thomas, a low-ranking male collegiate swimmer, who instantly rose to a top ranking when he began to “identify” as female, and calling himself “Lia”:
A Look At the Numbers and Times: No Denying Advantages of Lia Thomas, Swimming World, April 5, 2022. Excerpt:
Just how much of an advantage did Lia Thomas possesses over biological females? The numbers paint a clear picture. The fact that the University of Pennsylvania swimmer soared from a mid-500s ranking (554th in the 200 freestyle; all divisions) in men’s competition to one of the top-ranked swimmers in women’s competition tells the story of the unfairness which unfolded at the NCAA level.
A picture at one of Thomas’s “victories” over biological females, which enabled him to attain recognition and rewards for which males are not eligible:

The ADL never said a word about the fundamental unfairness of real-life implications of, or incidents that sprout as a result of the policy it was advocating, either on its website, or its Twitter page.
(4) Urging people to use the correct pronouns for LGBT children
Let’s Get It Right: Using Correct Pronouns and Names, a report by the ADL, October 25, 2018.
Look up the words the ADL uses to define itself, and the purposes to which donor money will be spent, here. Then, try to reconcile that with this Tweet.
(5) Complaining about “anti-LGBTQ hate” in video games
Despite ongoing issues with in-game harassment, it's great to see @activision's @callofduty on the right side of fighting anti-LGBTQ hate here. Streamers have a responsibility to use their platforms to fight hate, not fuel it. https://t.co/d6SF6wZh4s

With the exception of the QAnon conspiracy theorists, there is more than sufficient evidence to give credence to skepticism about COVID vaccines, and America’s election policies and practices.
On the subject of “election fraud” conspiracies, it should be noted that the ADL — which insists it’s absolutely nonpartisan — has never said a word about Democrats and America’s top “news” organizations openly claiming — for more than three years — that the 2016 election was fraudulent:
Update, November 15, 2023: The ADL does it again:
We are deeply concerned by @Meta's decision to allow ads questioning 2020 election legitimacy on Facebook & Instagram. Especially during the run-up to the 2024 election, platforms must prioritize robust, responsible content moderation and combat harmful disinformation. https://t.co/kzBRyPAb9B
— ADL (@ADL) November 16, 2023
(8) Original ADL investigations into donor activity that it alleges “sows distrust in democratic institutions”
Look at the resources that the ADL poured into rooting out this data, and weaving it into a “report.”
Follow the money — more than 1,000 people who have donated to the #FreedomConvoy trucker protest also donated to Jan. 6 efforts. The apparent through line between efforts to sow distrust in democratic institutions is alarming. Read more here: https://t.co/BgLGHiz6ox

— ADL (@ADL) August 6, 2021
https://twitter.com/ADL/status/1448692432326041605
Analysis
As the ADL knew (or should have known) at the time, there was great legitimacy to critics’ concerns:
- Covid on the Border: Migrants Aren’t Tested on Arrival in U.S., NY Times, April 28, 2021.
- Border Patrol not testing migrants for COVID before they’re released across US, Washington Examiner (via Yahoo News), .
- 18 percent of migrant families leaving Border Patrol custody tested positive for Covid, document says, NBC News, August 7, 2021.
- Scant testing in US migration system risks spreading virus, AP, April 17, 2020.
The issue of illegal aliens, refugees and asylum-seekers, particularly from third-world nations, bearing infectious diseases, is nothing new, and was reported long before the COVID pandemic — yet the ADL has said nothing about it:
- More than 2,000 people in ICE custody quarantined for contagious diseases, CNNPolitics, March 11, 2019 .
- Infectious Diseases Making the Border Crisis Worse, Center for Immigration Studies, March 13, 2019.
- Deadly Diseases Crossing Border with Illegal Immigrants, AAPS – Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, June 25, 2014.
This deep examination of the ADL’s disinformation campaign regarding illegal aliens in 2021 helps to frame the following April 2022 Tweet (archive) for the obscenity it is:
As we prepare for #Passover, let’s embrace the lessons of the holiday’s story by welcoming and protecting refugees and immigrants. Download our Passover Haggadah supplement to spark dialogue and share with those at your seder table. https://t.co/6GT0h3ku8G pic.twitter.com/Hbb047ldYF
— ADL (@ADL) April 12, 2022
Note that the ADL now includes the term “refugees,” implying that the flood of millions of foreign nationals walking/sneaking over our border each year are fleeing a war, an earthquake, a Holocaust-level extermination campaign, or some other immediate threat to their lives. As the ADL knows (or should know), roughly three-fourths of those unlawfully crossing the US southern border do not have even the pretense of a valid asylum/refugee claim; rather, most are economic migrants, meaning, they’re looking for work — yet they refused to follow our procedures to emigrate to America, by applying from in their home nations.
Further, as the ADL knows (or should know):
- Because of the lack of adequate CBP agents and physical barriers, untold numbers of previous-deported criminal illegal aliens are able to walk back into America 5, 10, 20 or more times — about which the ADL says nothing, ever.
- The flood of illegal aliens over the US border are also carrying tons of fentanyl (now the #1 cause of death of Americans age 18-45) and other deadly drugs
For the ADL to implicitly compare the flood of unknown illegal aliens, who refuse to comply with our immigration application procedures, and are mostly seeking jobs, to Holocaust survivors/refugees, can only be described as an obscenity.
(10) Falsely claiming Texas is “assaulting the right to vote”
There is no right more fundamental to a democracy than the right to vote. Texas’ latest assault on that right is inexcusable and unacceptable. https://t.co/moiRRKwSse
— ADL (@ADL) August 31, 2021
Analysis
What was the reality behind the Texas election reforms?
“The bill includes provisions outlawing 24-hour polling places and drive-thru voting. It also establishes ID requirements for voting by mail and prohibits election officials from sending out applications for mail-in ballots if they have not been requested by voters.” – NY Post, August 31, 2021.
These measures are intended to provide a greater degree of election security and ballot integrity, a mission that is supported by a broad cross-cultural base in America. For example, contrary to popular myth, Americans across racial and party lines support voter ID laws — meaning, requiring voters to show a legitimate, government-produced ID to prove who they say they are, and that they are eligible to vote.
(11) Producing and promoting an original report on “The Intersection of Misogyny and White Supremacy” — while ignoring the two actual, dominant drivers of misogyny in America, and beyond
New research backs up our long-standing reporting: misogyny and far-right extremism are inextricably linked. Lawmakers and law enforcement must address ongoing, violent threats against women.
Our report ➡️https://t.co/GMtHLUz5ZXhttps://t.co/fZnDeyXAsp
— ADL (@ADL) January 19, 2022
Analysis
Normal, peaceful people, regardless of their otherwise differing characteristics, are united in their opposition to white supremacists, both on principle, and especially because when they lash out, it is often with deadly violence. It is for these reasons that white supremacists cannot plan events anywhere in American culture without facing stern, cross-partisan push-back, and typically only distribute their hate literature in the dark of night.
No one knows how many white supremacists there are in America, and because anyone can register a website and claim to have set up a club of some sort, but it’s impossible to ascertain whether they have 1 member or thousands. Because of the mainstream American rejection of white supremacism, but various researchers have estimated their total numbers at less than 20,000 individuals, nationally (citations needed).
On the subject of misogyny, however, the ADL has had nothing to say about the social realms in which credible research shows misogyny has become the most mainstreamed, accepted and even defended:
(a) Rap and hip-hop music
(b) The Muslim world
Regarding misogyny in rap and hip-hop music:
The Words Have Changed But the Ideology Remains the Same: Misogynistic Lyrics in Rap Music, JSTOR, Journal of Black Studies, July 2006.
Alleviating the Effects of Misogyny in Rap and Hip Hop Music, The Harvard Crimson, February 27, 2018.
The Lyrical Impact of Music. A Study in Misogyny and Violence, Medium, June 6, 2019.
The Harsh Reality of Misogyny in Hip-Hop, Journey Magazine, August 18, 2020.
Women battle misogyny to send hip-hop spinning in a new direction, ABC News, August 9, 2023.
This should be of grave concern to all people who cherish females, and want to see them enjoy complete autonomy and individual rights, and be treated with dignity — especially considering that according to recent research:
- Hip-hop/rap is the most popular music genre in America
- Hip-hop/rap is the most popular music genre among American 18-24 year olds, and second most popular among 13-17 year olds
- Hip-hop/rap is the most popular music genre that is downloaded on Apple Music
Further, regarding the issue of violence, it should also be noted that according to the US Department of Justice data, as of 2018, black Americans perpetrated ten times as many violent crimes against white Americans, than the reverse.
Closer to home, as the ADL knows (or should know), according to NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force data, retrieved and reported on by Americans Against Antisemitism, 97% of hate crimes against Jews in NYC are perpetrated by other minorities — 69% of whom are black:
NEW: Hate Crimes Report by @AmericansAA & @IsraelBitton finally confirms what we've long known anecdotally:
94% of Anti-Jewish Assaults in New York City (2018–2022) Were Against Orthodox Jews; and
97% Were Perpetrated By Other Minorities.

As NYC is home to (a) the single largest enclave of Jews outside of Israel, as well as (b) the ADL’s world headquarters, one might think that this would be a no-brainer top priority for the self-proclaimed “global leader in combating antisemitism.” Instead, the ADL has said absolutely nothing about this report, either on its website or social media.
This fact is proven through searches conducted on October 1, 2023:
At ADL.org:
Search string “Hate crimes Jews NYC minorities”: Zero relevant results
Search string “Americans Against Antisemitism americansaa.org”: Zero results
On the ADL’s Twitter page (Twitter.com/ADL):
Search string “ADL Hate crimes Jews NYC minorities”: Zero results
Search string “@ADL @AmericansAA”: Zero results
Instead, the ADL obsessively uses its resources to falsely claim that the #1 threat Jews in America face is from white supremacists, conservatives and Republicans.
Regarding the prevalence of misogyny in the Muslim world, the following facts should be common knowledge in the West, but are not:
Islamists Welcome Infamous Social Media Star Andrew Tate into the Fold of Islam, Middle East Forum, November 9, 2022.
The Global Gender Gap Report, World Economic Forum, 2016.

Outrage as Muslim cleric likens women to ‘uncovered meat’, Daily Mail, October 26, 2006. (Summary: Australia’s top imam openly claimed to a reporter, in response to her question about skyrocketing rates of sexual assaults on Australian women and girls by Muslim migrants, that such females can be compared to “uncovered meat”, that is left outside, and devoured by animals. Further, he said, if these females were kept at home, and not allowed to dress provocatively (any exposed skin), such attacks might not happen.)
And yet, how many reports — or content of any kind — has the ADL produced and promoted regarding misogyny in rap music, and Islam?
Zero. Here are the results of searches performed at ADL.org and on Twitter on September 28-29, 2023, that prove this fact:
At ADL.org:
Search string “misogyny rap music”: Zero relevant results
Search string “misogyny Muslim”: Zero relevant results

What does “able-ism” and related issues have to do with defending Jews from skyrocketing anti-Semitic hate and violence? (18) Declaring that the “OK” hand sign is a symbol of white supremacy
On the surface, this headline seems too insane to be real — and yet, it is very real.

‘OK’ Hand Sign Is Now Considered a Symbol of Hate, According to Anti-Defamation League, People, September 26, 2019. Excerpt:
The OK hand gesture, which was long used as a stamp of approval but has taken on new life as a mark of white supremacy in recent years, is among several new entries to the Anti-Defamation League’s database of hate symbols.
The organization announced the 36 updated additions on Thursday, calling the symbols the “modern calling cards of hate.”
The OK gesture, which involves putting your index finger to your thumb to make a circle, then raising your three remaining fingers, has traditionally been used to signify that all is well.
But in 2017, it took on a more sinister meaning after the internet message board 4chan spread a hoax claiming the gesture represented a “W” and a “P” for white power.
“The hoaxers hoped that the media and liberals would overreact by condemning a common image as white supremacist,” the ADL’s entry explains.
The faux ties eventually became the real deal as white nationalists actually did adopt the gesture as their own, first to “troll” left-leaning people, and then as the real thing, according to the ADL.
O.K. Hand Sign Is a Hate Symbol, Anti-Defamation League Says, The New York Times, Sept. 26, 2019. Excerpt:
On Thursday, the Anti-Defamation League is adding 36 entries to its longstanding online catalog of extremist symbols, many of which are built around racist stereotypes that have been spread about African Americans and Jews. […]
Some of them appear innocuous. The O.K. symbol created by touching the forefinger to the thumb, for example, is seen by extremists as forming the letters “WP,” or “white power.”
(19) Complaining that Musk’s Twitter allowing users to “misgender” and/or “deadname” members of the LGBT community “will have harmful consequences” and may “fuel offline violence”
For those who don’t know:
- “Misgender”: To refer to a person by their biological gender, rather than the gender “with which they identify.” Example: referring to a biological male, who has not had gender-reassignment surgery, but who dress as woman, as “he.”
- “Deadname”: To refer to a person who identifies with a gender other than their biological one (or who identifies as as nongendered) by the name they previously used, rather than their new name. Example: Referring to transgender male swimmer Lia Thomas (who is still a biological male) as his birth name, “William” (from which “Lia” was derived).
.@Twitter’s policies must aim to keep the platform safe for its users. This decision will have harmful consequences beyond the platform, as we’ve seen online anti-LGBTQ+ hate fuel offline violence. https://t.co/sLtWR0vbbV

As I pointed out to the ADL, in a response thread, while it will stand up against “misgendering” and “deadnaming” on Twitter, it has said absolutely nothing about (a) a radical Islamist USC student openly declaring she wants “to kill every motherfucking Zionist,” and (b) the school doing nothing in response (article here):
So do I have this straight, @ADL:
a) You WILL cry out in defense of LGBT people who are "misgendered" or "deadnamed," but…
b) You remain SILENT in re a Twitter user who openly claimed she wants to "kill all m-f Zionists," and the taxpayer-funded…
